The club where your dyslexic child can

meet other kids just like them.

A small online confidence club for dyslexic kids, led by a dyslexia specialist who's lived it herself.

Does this sound like your child?

They're starting to compare themselves to friends. School feels harder than it should. They've started saying things like "I'm just not clever."

  • Needs a confidence boost

  • Would love to meet other kids who "get it"

  • Wants to understand how their dyslexic brain works

  • Would be inspired by positive dyslexic role models

  • Deserves to feel proud of who they are

If even just one of those is true, this club was built for them.

You've had the pep talk.

The "your brain just works differently" chat.

The bedtime reassurance after a hard day at school.

It helps for a moment, then homework comes out again and their shoulders drop. Your child already knows their challenges. What changes things is discovering their strengths, and hearing it again and again, from people who get it. That's Dyslexic Minds Club, every single week.

Inside the Club

Every session is 30 minutes, live on Zoom, in a small group (15 max).

Meet their people

A small live group of other dyslexic children, the same faces each week, so real friendships and trust can build.

Discover dyslexic role models

Each week features successful dyslexics from a different industry: sport, art, science, business, and more. So "dyslexic" starts meaning capable, not behind.

Explore their own strengths

Games and activities that help your child spot what their dyslexic brain is actually good at, not just what it finds hard.

Share wins and challenges

A safe space to say what's gone well, or what's been tough, and be heard by kids who understand exactly what they mean.

Take home one real strategy

A simple, practical tool or tip to try out that will make school a little more manageable.

Their brain is brilliant in ways school misses.

Big picture thinking. Creative problem solving. Visual 3D thinking. Determination most adults would envy.

Each week, a Top Trumps style strength card reveals a famous dyslexic's hidden superpowers, so your child can start spotting the same ones in themselves.

Don't just take our word for it

Hear it from the parents:

Hear it from the kids:

Created by a Specialist Dyslexia Teacher:

I’m Hannah, a specialist dyslexia teacher with 18 years of experience in UK education, and I’m dyslexic myself.

I've been in your child's shoes and remember all too well what it felt like to sit in a classroom and quietly wonder why everyone else found it easier, thinking I was 'stupid' and having to work twice as hard just to keep up.

I created Dyslexic Minds because confidence changes the direction of a child’s life. When a child understands their brain, recognises their strengths and realises they are not alone, they start to see themselves differently.

And when that shift happens early, it carries with them for years to come.

Ready to find your child's people?

Spaces are capped at 15 children per group, so your child gets a club that actually feels like theirs.

Got questions?

What if my child isn't great with online sessions?

Honestly, who can blame them after COVID learning? But things have moved on a lot since then, your child is older now, and I've spent years teaching online specifically. Every session is just 30 minutes, packed with games, polls, pictures and videos to keep their attention the whole time.

What if my child is shy or doesn't like talking in groups?

That's completely normal, especially for dyslexic kids whose confidence can take a knock from school struggles. These sessions are built with that in mind. The group is big enough that no one has to speak up if they don't want to, but small enough that your child won't feel overwhelmed by new faces. They can still join in through polls, emoji reactions, the chat box, and games, all at their own pace.

What if I'm not based in England?

No problem at all. We've had Dyslexic Minds kids from Scotland, Ireland, and other parts of Europe who make the time zone work. Kids actually love it. Meeting other dyslexic kids from different countries is part of the fun.

When does the term run, and what are the session times?

Term runs from the week of September 14th to the week of December 14th, with a half term break on the weeks of October 19th and 26th (a total of 12 sessions). All times shown are UK time (GMT/BST).

Mondays
4:30–5:00pm: ages 8–11 (primary school)
5:15–5:45pm: ages 11–14 (secondary school)

Fridays
4:00–4:30pm: ages 8–11 (primary school)

How much does it cost, and how do I pay?

There are 12 sessions across the term, at £15 each. You can pay in full for the term (£180), or split it into two instalments of £90, with the second payment taken 6 weeks after the first. Whatever's easier for you.
